It was in 2002 the New Life Baptist Church joined with Bishop Joseph I. Apinde of the Mercy Seat of God Fellowship International Church in Kenya, Africa, committing to financially, spiritually and socially supporting the needs of that community. One project that has emerged from this partnership is the construction of the Tortola Child Rescue and Educational Centre and sponsorship opportunities to provide education and meals for the orphans and needy children in Nairobi.

The old school building presently houses about 250 children at primary level only.  Upon completion of this project, the school will house over 400 students, at primary and secondary levels.

HOW YOU CAN HELP!
You can be a part of this project by sponsoring a child or with a one-time donation towards the construction of the school.

• SPONSOR A CHILD:  Approximately $200.00 a year; includes tuition, school supplies, meals and regular updates on the child you sponsor.
• SPONSOR A FAMILY:  Sponsor a family of up to four for just $500.00 a year.  This amount will provide tuition for one child and food for the family.  Any amount donated above this base cost will go a long way to help the family cover other basic expenses including medical expenses.
• ONE-TIME DONATION: Donations of any amount are always welcome and will go toward meals, uniforms, school supplies, or help with the construction of the Tortola Child Rescue & Educational Centre.  Please indicate what you would like your donation to go towards.
